Jesse is an Emmy-award winning musician and a two-time graduate of the Indiana University Jacob’s School of Music. A student of David Baker & Steve Houghton, he holds a Masters of Music in Jazz Studies / Percussion and a Bachelors of Music Education (Percussion). He is currently in the final phase of a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Music Education from Boston University.

Commercial Music Seminar | 9 hours
A fully hands-on, deep-dive, project-based seminar for students interested in commercial music production. Within the allotted time frame, Jesse will lead your students through a commercial music project such as a jingle or commissioned song/composition from start to finish. All aspects of a commercial music project will be discussed including creating a client brief, negotiations and pricing, contracts, copyright, composition production processes (incl. songwriting elements, temp track creation, mic selection and recording), the post-production process, and delivery of the final product. Delivered in one long day, or in 3 separate 3-hour sessions across 1-3 days (recommended).
